Application and Research Centre Activity Information Covering 01 January 31 December 2023
Information on the Meetings Organised:
Presentation titled "Monitoring of Local Earthquake Activity in Northwest Anatolia Ayvacık Edremit Region and Imaging of Underground Structure", "National Earthquake Research Program (UDAP) after Ten Years" organised by AFAD The meeting was held on 23-24 November 2023 as Udap-Ç-19-09 Project Outputs.

Information on the Conferences Organised:
1- The presentation titled "Çanakkale, the City Waiting for its Earthquake" was made by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, Director of the Centre, on 10 June 2023 as an invited speaker within the scope of the "Kepez Natural Disaster Information Workshop" organised by Çanakkale Kepez Municipality. 
2- The presentation titled "Marmara and Aegean Region Earthquakes; Past, Present and Future" was made by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, Director of the Centre on 9 March 2023 at the I. Earthquake Workshop organised by Keşan Municipality.                                                                                           
3- The presentation titled "Çanakkale, the City Waiting for its Earthquake" was made by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, the Director of the Centre, on 15 March 2023 at the conference titled "Is Çanakkale Resistant to Earthquake?" organised by ÇOMÜ, TMMOB Chambers of Geology and Geophysics Engineers.

4- The presentation titled "Analysis of Çanakkale Earthquakes from Past to Present" was made by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, Director of the Centre, on 6 October 2023 in the panel titled "Architecture for Resilient Communities" within the scope of Architecture Week Activities organised by TMMOB Chamber of Architects Çanakkale Branch.         
Information on the Seminars Organised:
1 -Invited panel speech on "Biga Earthquakes and Earthquake Potential from Yesterday to Today" was presented by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, Director of the Center, at the "Earthquake Risk and Awareness Panel" organized by Biga Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 22 December 2023.                                                                                                                        
2 -Invited panel speech on "Current Approaches to Earthquakes in Çanakkale and its Surroundings" was presented by Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, Director of the Centre, as an invited speaker at the Symposium themed "Current Approaches to Earthquakes and the Role of Paramedics" organised by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Vocational School of Health Sciences on 22 December 2023.
